Rachel Wilding, Counseling Intern

Rachel Wilding (she/her/ella) is a graduate student of the nature-based clinical mental health counseling concentration at Naropa University. She is an 8.5-year veteran of the US Navy and has spent many years working in corporate tech, from small startups to large-firm marketing and account management. Holding an MS degree in Environmental Policy and Management, she cares passionately about environmental stewardship. She is also a student member of the American Counseling Association.

Rachel's superpower is empathetic relating, compassionately guiding us to our blind spots and empowering individuals to reclaim their inherent wisdom. Fascinated by animist psychology, Jungian depth psychology, decolonial depth psychology, existential, and humanistic theories, she believes the mind, body, and spirit are inseparable. She is a mystic, intuitive, and an earth-based medicine ceremonial initiate in the Amazonia Shipibo tradition.

Rachel's life experience brings the desire to support individuals curious about exploring their own relationship to spirituality, experiencing spiritual crisis, those undergoing major life transitions, and military veterans. In her spare time, she's been known to front a rock band or two, scale a nearby peak, and read tarot and astrology for the ethereally curious. New Mexico green chile for the win!
If you’d like to work with Rachel, please include that in your message.
While we can’t guarantee availability, we’ll do our best to accommodate your request with care.
