Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy Training
A Training for Therapists and Medical Prescribers
May 29th–31st & June 5th-7th | In-Person in Niwot, Colorado | Limited to 15 Participants
A Two-Weekend Immersion (Friday evenings + all day both Saturday & Sunday)

Something is shifting in how we collectively understand healing. Clients are seeking support, already curious about ketamine - hopeful, sometimes already in a ketamine treatment process with no therapeutic support around it, or simply wanting to explore the potential it holds for their healing journey. The need for skilled, grounded, ethically trained facilitators has never been greater.

This four-day training is an invitation to step into that space - not as a technician of altered states, but as a healer who understands the medicine, holds the container, and walks alongside clients through one of the most meaningful thresholds in modern mental health care.
What You'll Learn
This training covers the full arc of ketamine-assisted psychotherapy - the neuroscience of why it works, how to screen and prepare clients, the moment-by-moment skills of holding a dosing session, and the integration work that turns experience into lasting change. You will leave with a clear understanding of scope, ethics, prescriber collaboration, and how to begin this work responsibly.
Topics include:

-
ketamine neuroscience and the plasticity window
-
indications and contraindications
-
dissociation and parts-based screening
-
preparation, set and setting, intention work
-
dosing-day therapeutic presence and safety protocols
-

-
music as a clinical tool
-

measurement-based care
-
prescriber collaboration & documentation

Learning From the Inside Out
This training includes an optional experiential component - the opportunity practice faciliting a ketamine journey and to receive a ketamine session yourself as part of your learning. While participation is never required, it is warmly encouraged. There is simply no substitute for having moved through the experience yourself when it comes to holding space for your clients.

Participants who wish to engage in the experiential component will need to consult with a licensed prescriber be screened and to obtain a ketamine prescription. This is arranged independently and the cost of the prescription and any associated medical visit is not included in the training fee. Dr. Kelly Buisseret will provide screening and perscription for those who need it. If you would like to work with your current provider or would like other referrals for licensed prescribers please reach out and options will be provided for you. Please email inquiry@dignitycw.com if you have any questions.
Meet the Facilitators

Katherine Klumb, LPC-S, NMIT
Katie is a transpersonal psychotherapist and trainer with roots at Naropa University, practicing since 2017 and working in ketamine-assisted psychotherapy for over six years.
Clinically, she supports individuals navigating seemingly immovable trauma and existential crisis - and she has found that altered states, when supported by skilled preparation and deep integration work, can open doors that have long felt closed.
She has facilitated trainings across both ketamine and psilocybin programs, and served seven years on the board of the Nowak Society - a non-profit that helped shape the legislation that opened the door for natural medicine in Colorado.

Katie is a therapist at and co-owner of Dignity Counseling & Wellness.

Dr. Kelly Buisseret, MD
Dr. Kelly Buisseret is a board-certified Internal Medicine Physician with over 16 years of experience, known for her deep commitment to bridging Western medicine with contemplative and natural healing traditions.
Trained in Contemplative Psychology through Karuna Training, she brings a transpersonal lens to her medical practice - honoring the whole person, including mind, body, and spirit.
Kelly is ketamine trained and has a particular passion for working with front-line workers, first responders, and those navigating end-of-life transitions. Her work is rooted in the belief that the most profound healing often happens at the threshold between worlds - and that medicine, when held with intention, can be a doorway.

This is a multi-day training that spans two weekends - May 29th–31st and June 5th–7th - so you'll want to keep both weekends open on your calendar. We will meet Fridays from 5:30–8:30 PM, and Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 AM–5:30 PM over the two weekends of training.
Training takes place at Dignity Counseling & Wellness, located at 210 Franklin St in Niwot, Colorado. The space is intimate and designed with therapeutic work in mind. Snacks and drinks are provided throughout the day. For lunch, there are several options within walking distance in Niwot, and a broader range of restaurants a short drive into Longmont.
Overnight lodging is not provided. Niwot is conveniently located between Boulder and Longmont, both of which have a range of hotel and short-term rental options. If you're traveling from out of town, we recommend securing accommodations early given the late-March timing.
Please dress comfortably - this is experiential, embodied work and you'll want to feel at ease. Bringing a journal is encouraged, as reflection and note-taking are woven throughout the training.
A full refund is available for cancellations made at least 7 days before the training begins (by May 22nd). Cancellations after that date are non-refundable. To cancel or transfer your registration to a future training, please contact info@dignitycw.com.
